Just missing the good ole days, so if you could have anything from your past what would it be and why?

I would bring back the original twinkie and .89 cents gas. Why because the twinkie was a real cake with real filling (banana cream) and I have to travel alot and gas is killing me.

I'd bring back those summer nights sittin on the driveway...shooting the sh!t with my neighbors! That was fun! Also, the days when I first got my own place, and I lived next door to 2 great guys with lots of male friends....those were the party days!!

Cool topic!
I would love to revisit the days of fishing the Elizabeth River with my Dad; long days at the beach swimming and crabbing; catching fireflies on late summer evenings. I suppose the wonderful thing about these wishes, I can still do them... sometime.

I would bring back the "old" standards of customer service. Everything seemed to be much easier...you could get an actual human being when you called a company, people were relatively polite, and THE CUSTOMER WAS ALWAYS RIGHT. Even when the customer was wrong! These days, a simple call to the phone company can feel like swimming upstream thru half-frozen molasses.

I miss the days my family and I would travel across the states to CA and see all kinds of different things. We never went the same way twice. And I miss sleeping like a baby. You never sleep as well when you an adult like you did when you were a kid.

One more night to hang out with the Maffia - 8 girls, all best friends - we brought out the best and worst from each other, and from those girls I learned what true friendship was. We've all grown up and grown apart now - some of us still talk - but I'd take one more night in Starkville, at Rosey Baby where the bartender knew us all, just to know that we'll never be that innocent, wild, and free again.

The past is just that. I wouldn't bring any thing back. I live in the now and am very forward looking. However from time to time I reference the past to aid me in shaping my future.

cooking lessons with my grandmother~she tried but I was too busy, and it's those little touches that aren't in cookbooks that make the dish

Sleeping in a feather bed at my grandmother's with a ton of quilts on you because it was so cold in the room you could see your breath. Then waking up early to a warm fire and a real breakfast.

I don't think I would like to relive any particular era over again... Now is too awesome to waste.
But I would give a lot to have my grandpa see how I turned out. I think he would be happy.

To go back to singing Gospel music like I did when I was younger with my family. Those were without a doubt the happiest times of my life. Hearing my mom singing is one thing I miss more than anything in this world.

I miss the days when everyone lived close by and went to Gpa/Gma for dinner and fun on Sundays. Now everyone is grown and moved on.
