When it comes to annoying habits, what are you guilty of? What gets on your nerves?
johnniegirlatl
i am guilty of interrupting, i'm from a good sized family and you basically have to jump into a conversation or you will be waiting forever for someone to take a breath... i also have this habit of stretching... not just a yawn and a casual rolling of the shoulders but a full body, tilt back in my office chair, make some giddy noises and contort my limbs stretching thing... i know it annoys at least one person but it just feels so danged good and she no longer works with me... oh man... i also have the potential to have a really loud voice... it annoys the heck out of people but i don't realize it until it's too late because i can't really hear how loud it actually it... it's actually above the threshold of pain... i try to be aware of that one but i still occasionally have an outburst

as for the habits that drive my nutty... chewing with an open mouth would probably be tops... i also don't care for any hygiene or grooming being done in public (nose picking, nail clipping, nose blowing, ear fingering, etc) when there is an option to go to the restroom and handle your business

I am a wind breaker. Any time, any where, and usually on purpose. I also know when to hold it.

I am very easily excited....is that a good or bad habit?

2 of the things on your list are really major pet peeves to me...one being interrupting..I think its about one of the rudest thing to interrupt someone when they are talking, as if what you have to say is far more important than what they are trying to say. I also hate it when someone asks me a question and then when I start giving them the answer they either ask another question while your still trying to answer the first one or they change the subject altogether. The other thing is a grown up talking like a baby, I will walk out of the room before I listen to someone refer to themselves as "me" (ex: me likes to have fun). I have a hard time tolerating both those things.

One of the things I hate about myself is I am almost always late, that being said my work gives us a 5 minute pad but I would like to not have to use it sometime...LOL.

Oooooh the being late thing is a good pet peeve!
I did a google to come up with this list so keep using the "other" option. I knew there were more bad habits to list but after combing through a dozen websites, this was the list I came up with!

As for me, like Johnnie I had a large boisterous extended family and if you didn't make sure you were heard, you wouldn't be heard... that interrupting thing is something I work on. I laugh too loud and I blow my nose loudly, and sometimes I run late.

What irritates me? I think I'd have to go with the food thing, picking the nose in public, and baby talk.

Next.

oh man the late thing drives me nuts!!! i am very punctual and organized so tardiness really freaks me out... i have a sister who is chronically late and she is just beginning to understand how incredibly rude it is... when i ask her what delays her it's always nothing critical... she is typically just lallygagging around the house...

my best friend was an only child until a surprise little sister showed up when he was grown... the very first time he hung out with me and my loud interrupting sisters, he said that he was just in awe of the volume, overlap and cussing... my sister cheryl says that she just loves the way we talk over one another... she says she gets so excited about whatever we're talking about and just has to jump in like a giddy lil kid... of course, i have to keep the interrupting in check with strangers and especially at work but as soon as 3 pm hits, it's on!!

interrupting is my BIG bad habit..... I think it's in my genes.... mother is the WORST interrupter in history. as for me, I'm such a scatterbrain if I don't say it when I think of it I'll forget it!

I'll say that would depend on how pleasurable or annoying your excitement is!!

okay... maybe it's just that i have never worked around her very much or maybe i a lil cranky today but one of my coworkers has a very annoying habit of blowing off some of the most exaggerated and exasperated sighs every 1-2 minutes as though everything she does is a friggin hardship and tougher than martian algebra
