The night some of us brave Belles jumped the fence and broke into the pool at the hotel a couple of weeks ago, we were discussing how cool it would be to have an all BBW/BHM resort vacation. I didn't know an all BBW/BHM resort existed but a couple of you told me it had. When I got home a link was sent to me and after researching it, that particular resort is definitely BBW/BHM friendly, but it is not strictly BBW/BHM. In fact, I was unable to find a "BBW/BHM and admirer" only resort.

I can't remember if it was you Crystal or you Charlene who said I was going to be in charge of planning this type of vacation, but either way, I have started. I have found a travel agent who is, herself a BBW. She runs a travel agency and does a lot of cruises and other vacations for BBWs. I told her that I was interested in setting up a vacation, but I am unsure of how many people would be interested. I KNOW of at least 12 people. But she told me that generally to get good group rates, you have to have at least 20 people.

I told her that ideally an ALL BBW/BHM resort would be perfect but I knew that would be next to impossible. That is when she told me that in fact it wasn't impossible. She is planning just that.

We don't have to have a minimum amount of people for a good rate because she has bought out the entire resort for a 4 day vacation. There are 280 rooms, and she has bought all 280! Everybody there for those 4 days will be either BBW/BHM or an admirer.

The activities will ALL be BBW/BHM friendly. She even was telling me that she would be there showing them that tissue paper wasn't going to work for OUR TOGA party, we would need queen and king sized sheets. I got a kick out of that. She said there would be theme nights, a BBW fashion show, BBW friendly games, etc.

Now, some of you know of the Superclubs, Breezes, Grand Lido and Hedonism II and III. These are geared more towards all adults singles and couples alike. Hedonism II Negril, Jamaica is where the vacation will take place. Now, if you look it up or if you know anything about it, you will see that the Hedonism resorts are very adult. The entire resort generally is an "au natural" environment. However, during these four days, the resort will NOT be "au natural". There will be no nudity on the resort, the nude beach will still be open for those who want to use it, but there is another regular beach and everything else will be just like any other resort. All inclusive at a Superclub is better than all inclusive on a cruise. They include all meals, anytime snacks, alcohol and all non motorized sports/watersports, transfers to and from airport as well as all tips. The dates for this vacation are September 3rd through September 7th 2009. Once you make your deposit you will have nearly a full year to pay your balance off. The travel agent I spoke with is meeting with the people who run the resort this week and will have some definite numbers for us by the weekend or the beginning of next week. The approximate prices she gave me are:

$150 per person double occupancy/per night for a garden room or $600 for the 4 days. For a couple it is $1200 for the 4 days.
$180 per person double occupancy/per night for an ocean view room or $720 for the 4 days. For a couple it is $1440 for the 4 days.

Because the rooms are double occupancy if you are single and want a room to yourself, you have to pay the for that second person that could be sharing your room. So, it is best to try to find a room mate if you don't want the higher rate. Also, you can add additional nights on if you want to stay longer for the same rate. These rates do NOT include airfare. She can set up airfare for you, but I recommend setting it up yourself because personally I think you can get a better rate if you research enough.

I am going on the trip and I am very excited about it, in fact I have offered to help with anything needed to make this vacation an awesome BBW/BHM event. So, I can be your liason for information, details, etc. As they become available to me, I will provide them to you. When the info becomes set in stone and I get it to you within the next week or so, if you prefer to go through the travel agent that is perfectly fine also. Just let her know that you are a Belle or that I referred you. If I get an idea of how many are interested before she starts taking deposits, we might be able to block off rooms just for Belles.

Obviously it is an expensive trip, but it is a year away and you can pay over time (I always loved layaway! LOL!) And if you think about what is included, you will realize it really isn't all that expensive. This event is going to be advertised nationwide including The NY times, the LA times, the Miami Herald, the Chicago Tribune and one other that I can't remember. It will be advertised all over the web and within certain BBW groups a lot of them Yahoo groups. The reason I am telling you this is because there are a lot of BBWs out there and there are only 280 rooms. When I went on the "Figure at Sea" cruise for Figure magazine, there were over 500 BBWs on that cruise and those were mostly Figure subscribers, so you can imagine how the turnout will be if this is advertised all over. If anyone is interested, I encourage you to get your deposit to the travel agent ASAP. She is going to be asking for approximately a $200 per person deposit.

I encourage you to consider this trip. I don't think there will be anything to compare to this. I also think it would be cool if we could get a bunch of Belles to go. I know it is a year away, but how much fun would 4 days in Jamaica be with a bunch of us BBW/BHMs?

For me, a year away is a good thing! Allows time to get leave from work, find someone to keep Colin, save $, get a passport, etc. I think that I might just do this. Let us know when you get more details, like confirmation deadline/deposit amounts.

I was getting so excited about the trip until I got to the date. That will be Labor day weekend and I have been going to a convention with my twin every Labor day weekend since 1981.

I will know a definite amount next by the end of next week, but count on approximately 200 per person deposit and she said she is wanting to secure deposits by the end of September. Again, I will have some final details by the end of next week.

I am. My usual roommate for Belles events (magostang) has a big family trip planned next summer. I doubt she will be able to attend this one.

I did...and paid a bit extra for the sort that allows you to cancel for any reason whatever. This far out, it made sense.

Seriously though, Jo isn't offering any suites, unless you can bring a certain amount of people in. The suites are reserved for vendors, like some liquor company is sponsoring and there is a lady who has models coming with her clothing line who is sponsoring, etc. I doubt I will get enough people to reserve to get a suite, but it's worth a try, right? I am perfectly happy with an ocean view room and would even be OK with a garden view room. I mean, it's Jamaica!!!!

I would recommend the travel insurance. When I travel down south, especially in the path of hurricanes during hurricane season, I always get the insurance. I have never had to use it, but the peace of mind is enough for me when I am spending that much money. Ya know?

By the way, if you are going for sure, PM me so we can figure some stuff out, like maybe getting all our rooms in the same block, identifying ourselves as Belles, or even meeting up at a connecting airport so we can travel together!

Right now I am on the Island of Maui for a 5 day vacation at a cost of about $6,000. Hedonism II in Jamaica for that price is a dam good deal. For me the total price would be with air fare from Seattle about $3500. Just think, you folks could meet and beat Johnny Love in peson. Now that would be worth the price of the trip alone. Just ask Tiffy. I challange you all to sign up .

This event is at Hedonism II, but is NOT clothing-optional. There is a nude beach down the road from what I understand, though. Sorry to disappoint you.

It comes up way cheaper than $3500 when I look at booking through the Super Club website (even with single occupancy). Adding on a flight through travelocity at this time of the year won't tack on a whole lot more.

Regardless of price, hurricane season looks like it will make me sit this one out.

I agree with the hurricane scenerio. After some research Jamaica would not be an Ideal location during that time frame. I have also done some research on other BBW/BHM sites. Belles is a great site but is very small compared to other site participation. If I were going to pull something off along these lines I would hook up with another organization which might give Belles enough name recognition to get a larger participating audience.

The travel agent is advertising this in other BBW venues, NOT just Belles. It looks like it will sell out before too much longer. So there IS a larger participating audience.

And as a reminder, the is NOT a "clothing optional" resort during the time she's booked the resort. There is, however, a nude beach just down the road. Sorry to disappoint the perv contingent.

A lot of the Belles folks disagree with my perspective on some things. I wonder what thier definition of a perv is. I don't think it has anything to do with being observed nude on a beach. I wonder if you might receive some kind of kick back for getting a number of Belles folks to sign up?
