Let's see...strangest was child model. Worst had to be correctional officer in a 1300-bed men's prison.

Well I worked on an Indian Reservation in Mississippi many years ago and loved the experience but the "strange" part was that I had to live in a convent (yes, that's the place with nuns) during that time. It was basically contract work and providing lodging was part of the package. I was too young and broke to look elsewhere for a place to live.

Not sure I ever had a strange job. The most unique was working at Nashville International Airport escorting children and the elderly to their connecting flights. The worst was my first year at the Opryland theme park when I was 16...I spent half of the summer working in Hill Country wearing an outfit that resembled a bad Hee Haw costume and selling hats off the hat cart to a bunch of German tourists...YIKES! Don't those people have anywhere better to spend their summers than going to Fan Fair? Geesh, I'm glad those days are over.

Can't say I've ever had a strange one - but as far as worst - well, that would be my first. Working as a cashier for a man who thought that because I was young and cute, he could make passes at me, without me saying anything to him... Needless to say, I didn't work there long and he didn't have a job when I left!!!

Never really had a strange job but the worst job I had was when I was 17 and making some money in school I was working part time cleaning piegon poo of the sidewalks.

Probably the worst was working for this rent to own company called REMCO. I was the one and only delivery person, they were too cheap to hire two guys to deliver all the stuff (from complete bedroom suites, entertainment centers- to washers, dryers and refrigerators). Oh and there motto was same day delivery!!!

I worked as a cashier at McDonald's for a few summers. A co-worker was very fond of kneeling down behind the counter to "straighten up the shelves under the counter top"...what he was really doing was running his hands up inside the legs of my pants. I couldn't get him to stop and was too shy at that time to tell the manager. One day the idiot wasn't paying attention, and he did it while the manager was standing right there. He was fired on the spot.

When I was in high school, I used to say I will never work in a fast food I hate the smell of it. But let me tell you something life is a bitch and you change your mind when you have kids. When my ex husband left the house I need it to support my baby ( 9 month in that time in his first christmas), so the only work that I found was in BURGER KING, in that moment I didn't think in my 6 years of university, the only thing that I care in that moment was my son. Now I can look back and say that I'm proud of my self, even do I didn't like what I did in that moment of time.

Worst job: dishwasher at one of the busiest "sit-down" places in town. I was fifteen, pampered, and had never done more than one sinkful of dishes. By the time I left that first night I was crying, every one of my manicured nails were split, or gone, my feet were aching, my back hurt, and I stank of onions and chicken livers. I have never been so thankful for a job, nor have I ever been so grateful for what any other job has taught me. (I worked there for a year.)
I haven't really had a strange job, unless you count unpaid mascot for my Mom's dart team when I was 14. I had to wear a goofy assed shirt, say goofy assed phrases ("Dart players do it with fewer strokes" is one that still sticks in my craw), and I had to help cook and serve food when it was Mom's bar's turn to host the league. I did get free cheeseburgers.

My worst was when I was about 24 years old ... telemarketing. I lasted about a month ... cuz I wasn't thick skinned enough and would leave crying from all the people yelling at me.

The worst job, hands down, is the one I've got now.
It has its perks, but WOW...holy cow its a bad - thankless job.

Worst job I ever had lasted one day. Was working in the middle of summer in a factory's un-air conditioned warehouse. That was the day of my first gall bladder attack as well. Didn't even last the whole day.

The worst job I ever had, like BigGunn, lasted one day. I packed frozen chicken parts in boxes at a plant in Monterey. Ick.
The strangest and most fun job I ever had was working for the Cumberland County Playhouse, which I did for almost ten years. I met some really great and unique people there - see some of 'em on TV every once in a while.

Worst job I ever had was working in an office for Goodyear tires....it was a back office near where the tire production took place, the smell was terrible, so bad that by the end of the day I was very nauseated, I never returned to that job.
Strangest job was years ago selling cemetery plots at a local cemetery here. It was amazing how many people were concerned about scenery and shade where they would be laid to rest...I mean, you arent going to see the view or feel the sun....right?
