Well, I finally made it - I'm down enough that they've scheduled my Lap Band surgery!. I go tomorrow for my upper GI, the 12th for my bloodwork, the 17th for my pre-op class, and surgery on the 26th! I am so excited about getting my life back and not hurting in my joints so much anymore. I can't wait to be a true BBW instead of a SSBBW! Watch out world, here I come!!!

Thanks! I've been doing low carb to lose the weight. That has always worked for me to lose the weight, it's the keeping it off that's been the problem. This is the tool I need to make the weight loss life long! 24 days and counting!!!

Awwwww man, I wish I'd known... there was a BOGO free offer the week I signed up but I didn't know anyone that needed one so I just told them to put in two si I'd lose the weight twice as fast. Bummer, huh? Anyway, I assure you, I will try to heal as quickly as possibe so we can get out for some serious booty shakin' soon!

Thanks Girl! Well, for starters, it would help if I had taken off my shoes to do that math - it was 25 days and counting at that time! LOL I'm down to 19 now and you're right, it's flying by pretty quickly. I have bloodwork, a support group meeting, and a pre-op class all scheduled between now and then so that helps the time go a little quicker. 19 more days and I'll be a "Bandit"!

Well, I've finally been cleared again for my surgery! (that pesky imaginary ulcer) The date is set for Dec. 12th and I am so excited. I'm headed out later for my last official meal. I have to start a liquid liver purifying diet tomorrow (bluck) and get my bloodwork, then it's just a waiting game till the 12th. Thanks to all you guys that have been so supportive during this long road! Watch out world...

How's the countdown going???

4 days and counting!!! All is going well, contrary to my earlier beliefs, surviving on 6 bottles of Glucerna a day has NOT been the death of me. Actually, I'm considering adopting a Glucerna only lifestyle - lost 12 pounds the first week!!! Anyway, I am excited and raring to go. Surgery is scheduled for 7:00 Weds. morning. I'll try to drop by that evening and give y'all a progress report. Thanks to everyone for being so supportive!
