Really? Moreso than foot binding or removing a young girls clitoris (without anesthesia) so she won't be a tramp, or... well... I could on. There are many things that have been forced on women to make them more acceptable\attractive to men.

The things women do to get some dick amazes me. Bulimia, anorexia, self starvation, shaving body hair; coloring, cutting and twisting hair every way imaginable, make-up, keeping up with fashion trends. I truly believe if a woman would chop off a finger and it would get her attention from the opposite sex, soon all women would be hacking off digits.

If you think men treat women like 2nd class citizens that must mean women treat themselves collectively as untouchables.
