Ok... here's the deal. I'm a diabetic and my blood sugars were sky high. I have recently regained control of them and they're actually normal now. Problem is Friday my vision was blurry, Saturday a little worse, Sunday even more worse and yesterday morning I couldn't even read my reports at work. I called the eye doctor and was seen right away. He said for some reason I have become very farsighted and prescribed me glasses (my vision has always been perfect). Has anyone ever heard of this happening so suddenly? He seemed to think it's because of my glucose becoming normal and my body is in a type of shock from the change, but it seems strange to me. This is one of the reasons I haven't been on here lately.... I couldn't see the friggin computer screen!!

My vision gets blurry when my sugar is up. If yours is still blurry and your sugar is at a low level I would tend to believe what the doctor said. I hope he checked the pressure in your eyes, thats a problem with people with sugar.

Yeah, he did a thorough exam and said my eyes are perfectly healthy, just farsighted. He said they may correct themselves.... I sure hope he's right 'cause glasses are really hard to get use to!!
